We're sitting in the stands at the Coluseium waiting for the lights to go out and for them to cue up the fireworks. The A's beat the Blue Jays 3-1; we've had a very nice time.
Update: We got out without too many traffic problems, and are on the way ho me. I rode BART in and met Stef and our friends from church, and we're catching a ride back with the Bartons.

We had such a great time tonight! We all met for dinner at Fuddruckers in Dublin (except for Jase, who joined us from BART at the game). The game was good; never too intense, but the A's won, so what more can you ask for?
The fireworks are amazing there. Best show I've ever seen. I kind of wished we had Ethan with us (especially when I saw Steve and Jen with their 3 cuties and saw how much they were enjoying the time together) but I must confess, it was nice to get out with Jase and enjoy a baseball game with no interruptions. Our kids stayed at my parent's house (THANK YOU, MOM!!) and actually are spending the night there. This is our first night away from Rachel and although its probably time, I'm trying not to get too emotional about it.

Rachel did do fine; slept all through the night, as she has been doing here (finally!) and apparently ate well, except for breakfast this morning. :(
I think Mom and Dad are looking forward to having the house all to themselves soon. Is there such a thing as being blessed with TOO many grandkids?? :)
