We celebrated Father's Day one day early this year. It was so nice to not have to work our day around Sunday schedule of church and what not. We enjoyed doing Mother's Day this way and having Sunday to go to church and just spend a nice quiet day at home together.
Today we went to Jason's parent's house and had a great time! We stopped by our favorite pancake restaurant in Livermore (IHOP) on the way in and met up with our friend Brock there. We haven't seen Brock in a long time, so it was great fun to catch up and spend that time together. Jason and his sister took their dad to see Spiderman 3 for Father's Day and the kids and I stayed home with Grandma and Great Grandma. The kids took naps and Grandma Anita and I went out and ran some errands together, which was lots of fun. We don't get the opportunity to spend alone time together and it brought back a lot of fun memories of when I used to stay with her when the Arnolds would go on vacation. Made me feel young(er) again.
We had a yummy bbq lunch and just a very fun, relaxing time with them. I've posted some pictures of our day and a couple of Ethan from last week.
HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to all you wonderful Dads!
