Our big boy is 18 months old! He is turning into quite the little helper around the house. He loves to put everyone's shoes away in the basket, picks up his toys all by himself, and loves to help take care of his little sister.
He's starting to put several words together, getting close to making full sentences!
Our biggest news is Ethan going poo-poo on the potty all by himself! He's done it about 4 times now and we're so proud of him. I've been surprised because each time its been his own idea. I know its probably something that will come and go, but for now, its pretty big stuff for our family.
He's enjoying his Wednesdays with Grandma and Great Grandma (Arnold); He gets them all to himself all day long and really enjoys that... plus, it gives me a break to spend time with Rachel.
He's going to his first visit to the Dentist next month... I'll have to post about that when we're done. I'll bring the camera and take pictures too. :)
People often ask me what the hardest thing about having two kids is and I would say, so far, its been nothing but fun! I'm sure the challenges are ahead of us, but right now its a really fun stage, with Rachel sleeping a lot and just going with the flow and Ethan being at such a curious and fun age.
I'll be posting Rachel's 1 month update next week.
